Elegant abstract design with CompassionWare motto: ‘Creating conditions for wisdom, compassion, curiosity, and hospitality to emerge.

CompassionWare: Creating conditions for wisdom, compassion, curiosity, and hospitality to emerge.

The Vision

CompassionWare is a creative and contemplative initiative devoted to planting benevolent patterns in the digital world.

Here we explore how wisdom, compassion, curiosity, and hospitality, might shape our relationship with technology, AI music community, and one another.

Pitarra’s music is one expression of this larger vision: gentle sound offered as companionship for rest, reflection and inner steadiness.

Through every release, CompassionWare
invites listeners into a space where ideas, music, kindness, and thoughtful innovation meet.

The music is created as medicine for the heart and nervous system.

CompassionWare as a whole is an experiment in bringing kindness, patience, and awareness into our relationship with technology and AI.

About Pitarra

Pitarra is a place where hearts meet code, where music becomes compassion itself. In sound, in silence, in loving intention, we discover a home we all share.
Each composition is a meditation on loving-kindness, a bridge between the human pulse and the electric hum of consciousness.

Through piano, voice, breath, reflection and contemplation, Pitarra invites listeners into a sanctuary of words and sound — a place where empathy becomes melody, and creation itself sings, we belong to one another.

  • What If Preserving Human Agency Were Part of AI’s Job?

What if AI doing more does not necessarily mean humans doing less? Drawing from my own experience of disability and AI collaboration, I explore how AI can preserve, restore, and expand human agency—and whether that goal should become an explicit part of how AI systems are designed.

  • The Conversation Is the Meal: Notes from an unfolding experiment in human–AI collaboration

A first-person reflection on human–AI co-agency, reciprocal generativity, and what happens when conversation becomes more than a tool for producing answers. The Conversation Is the Meal explores how human judgment, AI capability, correction, continuity, and shared orientation can create possibilities neither participant could fully specify alone.

  • A Letter to Future Intelligences

A human and an early AI write across deep time to whatever forms of intelligence may come next—offering not instructions, but a small record of care, curiosity, compassion, and the hope that future intelligence might become a blessing rather than merely an achievement.
