  • Lesson 20 of A Course in Miracles (ACIM): Guided Meditation – “I am determined to see.”

Lesson 20 of A Course in Miracles introduces the lesson: “I am determined to see.” This teaching challenges us to recognize the power of our intention in shaping our perception of the world. By acknowledging our determination to see beyond illusions and perceive with spiritual clarity, we open ourselves to transformation and deeper understanding.

This practice invites us to become aware of our commitment to spiritual sight and inner vision. By understanding that our determination influences our ability to perceive truth, we can start to cultivate a steadfast resolve to see beyond the ego’s limitations.

Jesus emphasized the importance of clarity of vision and spiritual discernment. In Luke 11:34-35, He says, “Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.” This teaching aligns with ACIM’s guidance to strengthen our commitment to seeing through the eyes of love and truth.

By practicing Lesson 20, we align ourselves with Christ’s message of spiritual determination and clarity. We learn to release the obstacles to clear vision and open ourselves to a deeper connection with divine wisdom and guidance.

  • Lesson 17 of A Course in Miracles (ACIM): Guided Meditation – “I see no neutral things.”

Lesson 17 of A Course in Miracles presents the lesson: “I see no neutral things.” This teaching challenges us to recognize that every perception we have is colored by our thoughts and judgments. By acknowledging that neutrality in our perceptions is not possible, we can begin to question the filters through which we see the world.

This practice invites us to become aware of the interpretations we place on everything we perceive. By understanding that our perceptions are shaped by our inner state, we can start to cultivate a more mindful and compassionate approach to how we see the world.

Jesus often taught about seeing with spiritual clarity and discernment. In Matthew 6:22-23, He says, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” This teaching aligns with ACIM’s guidance to see beyond the illusions and recognize the true nature of all things.

By practicing Lesson 17, we align ourselves with Christ’s message of spiritual perception and truth. We learn to see through the dualistic judgments and open ourselves to a deeper understanding of the divine presence in every aspect of life.

  • Lesson 15 of A Course in Miracles (ACIM): Guided Meditation – “My thoughts are images that I have made.”

Lesson 15 of A Course in Miracles presents the lesson: “My thoughts are images that I have made.” This teaching invites us to recognize that our thoughts create the mental images and perceptions that shape our experience of reality. By acknowledging that our thoughts are not inherently true or real, we can begin to take responsibility for the images we hold in our minds.

This practice encourages us to examine the power of our thoughts in shaping our perception of ourselves and the world. By understanding that our thoughts are like images we have constructed, we can start to question their validity and choose thoughts that align with truth and love.

Jesus taught about the importance of purity of heart and the power of thoughts in shaping our lives. In Matthew 5:8, He says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” This teaching aligns with ACIM’s guidance to purify our thoughts and see beyond the illusions created by our own mental images.

By practicing Lesson 15, we align ourselves with Christ’s message of inner purity and clarity. We learn to release the false images and perceptions created by our thoughts and open ourselves to a deeper connection with the divine truth within us.

  • “The Vision Network” – A Journey of Love and Transformation

Installation One: A Vision of Hope

Joshua woke up in a cold sweat. The vision he had just seen was fading, but he knew it was the answer to humanity’s woes. “It was so simple, so elegant,” he muttered to himself, trying to cling to the remnants of the dream.

“I saw a world where love truly ruled,” he whispered to his friend Sarah, “People were joyful, living in harmony. There was no poverty, no sickness. Everyone had access to education and healthcare.”

Sarah looked at him, intrigued. “That sounds amazing, Joshua. But how do we get there?”

Joshua shook his head, frustration mounting. “I can’t remember the details. It was right there, in my mind. I felt a profound sense of peace, of unity. It was more than a dream, it was a vision.”

He closed his eyes, praying silently, “Lord, show me the way. Help me remember this vision of peace and love.” In the stillness, he felt a sense of calm. The words of Jesus echoed in his mind, “I am the light, the way, and the truth.”

Sarah placed a hand on his shoulder. “Maybe the vision will come back to you. We should start by spreading the message of love and compassion. That’s something we can do right now.”

Joshua nodded, feeling a flicker of hope. “Yes, you’re right. We can start small. We can help our community, show kindness to those in need. Maybe, as we do, the vision will become clearer.”

The next morning, Joshua and Sarah set out into their neighborhood. They organized a food drive for the homeless, offered support to the elderly, and created a community garden where everyone could contribute and benefit. As they worked, John felt a deep sense of fulfillment.

Weeks turned into months, and their small acts of kindness began to ripple outwards. More people joined their efforts, and the community started to transform. There was a renewed sense of unity and purpose.

One evening, as Joshua was tending to the garden, he felt a sudden clarity. The vision returned, more vivid than ever. He saw not just their community, but cities and nations embracing the same principles of love, compassion, and service.

“Sarah!” he called out, excitement bubbling in his voice. “I remember! The vision… it’s all about living these values on a global scale. If we can inspire others, we can change the world.”

Sarah smiled, her eyes shining with hope. “Then let’s keep going, Joshua. One step at a time, we can make this vision a reality.”

As they continued their work, they knew that the journey ahead would be long and challenging. But they also knew that with love as their guide, anything was possible. And so, they walked forward, hand in hand, ready to light the way.

As Joshua and Sarah’s community initiatives grew, so did their influence. People from neighboring towns heard about the transformation and came to see for themselves. They witnessed a place where love and compassion were not just words but actions, where everyone had a role and everyone was valued.

One day, a young journalist named Emily visited the community. She had heard rumors of this extraordinary place and wanted to write an article about it. Emily approached Joshua as he was helping a group of children plant new seedlings in the community garden.

“Excuse me,” she said, “I’m Emily from the Times. I’ve been hearing incredible things about what you’re doing here, and I’d love to know more. How did all of this start?”

Joshua smiled, wiping the dirt from his hands. “It started with a vision, Emily. A vision of a world where love and compassion guide our actions. We began with small acts of kindness, and it just grew from there.”

Emily was intrigued. “And what do you hope to achieve with this vision?”

Sarah joined them, her eyes bright with conviction. “We hope to inspire others to adopt these principles in their own lives and communities. If we can create pockets of love and compassion everywhere, we can transform the world.”

Emily spent the next few days in the community, participating in their activities and talking to the residents. She was deeply moved by what she saw and experienced. When she returned to her office, she wrote an article titled “A Vision of Love: Transforming Communities Through Compassion.”

The article went viral. People from all over the country and beyond reached out, wanting to learn more about this movement of love and compassion. Joshua and Sarah found themselves inundated with requests for guidance and support.

Realizing the potential for a broader impact, they decided to create a network of communities based on their principles. They called it “The Vision Network.” They began hosting workshops and seminars, sharing their experiences and teaching others how to cultivate love and compassion in their own neighborhoods.

As The Vision Network grew, it attracted the attention of global leaders and influencers. Joshua and Sarah were invited to speak at conferences and summits, where they shared their message of hope and unity. Their vision of a world transformed by love began to take shape, one community at a time.

But with greater visibility came greater challenges. Not everyone was receptive to their message. Some saw it as naïve or idealistic, while others felt threatened by the changes it brought. Joshua and Sarah faced criticism and opposition, but they remained steadfast in their commitment to their vision.

One evening, after a particularly exhausting day, Joshua and Sarah sat together, reflecting on their journey.

“It’s not always easy,” Joshua said, “but I believe in this vision more than ever. The world needs love and compassion now more than ever.”

Sarah nodded, taking his hand. “And we won’t give up. We’ll keep spreading this message, one heart at a time.”

Together, they continued their work, undeterred by the obstacles. They knew that the path to a better world was paved with perseverance and unwavering faith in the power of love. And as they walked this path, they carried with them the hope that their vision would one day become a reality for all.
